Rajasthan is one interesting state of our country. Within one state, lie a good number of fabulous cities. Namely, Jaipur, Udaipur, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Pushkar, Jaisalmer and many more. Whenever I get a long weekend, I have always chosen to travel. That is the best part of living in Delhi. That is, many holiday destinations are just a few hours away. And when I choose to travel, I preferably choose to glance at the beauty of Rajasthan. I have no clue how many times I have been there, I do continue to visit the state as many times as I want to.
This time, I chose to explore Pushkar. The other cities, I have had almost 2-3 visits. But for Pushkar, I had always been a little skeptical. Skeptical because apart from the famous Pushkar Mela and hundreds of temples. I have never been a big-time devotional person, but I certainly do not disrespect any sort of that thing. But I always wanted to see Pushkar. For accommodation, I got my room reservation at The Ananta Hotel. As I reached the hotel, it surely came out to be one of the best luxury resorts in Pushkar, with great rooms and fantastic facilities.
My exploration of Pushkar did not disappoint me at all. I found the Pushkar lake as one of the most serene places, where I could sit for hours in the evening and listen to all the chanting been done at the temples nearby.
On checking out, I saw the hotel was gearing up for a wedding. I was happy to see that I was at a hotel, which was not only a great accommodation but also a great wedding venue in Pushkar.
